What we're doing

The London regional office is working with its various partners across the capital to secure a better deal for London's trees and woodlands. It is actively engaged in a number of projects that will improve and enhance the standard of care being provided to trees and woodlands in London.

Two of these projects are:

1. The London Woodland Grant Scheme.

Providing new standard costs for woodland work in London.

For further details see The London Region Home page.

2. Capital Woodlands Project.

Capital Woodlands is a 3-year London Biodiversity Partnership project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.  The project aims to raise appreciation of London’s woodlands and increase public benefit and participation by undertaking access, biodiversity, community and training work both in six ‘flagship’ woodlands and throughout the capital.

For further details see The London Region Home page.
