Pick up a free William Woodworm trail leaflet and explore the arboretum to discover why wood is good! Wood Art - Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd August- Join the Westonbirt Education team to make your own unique piece of wood art to take home. 10am - 4.30pm. Free.

Willow Sculpture - Monday 20th to Monday 27th AugustJoin willow artist Tom Hare to help create a fantastic willow play sculpture which will remain at the arboretum after the Festival. From 20th to 24th August families can join Tom to help weave the willow 'skin' of the sculpture, while from 25th to 27th August Tom will show families how to create their own willow butterfly, leaf, snake or snail! Fairyland Trust Workshops - Friday 24th to Monday 27th August
- For all budding flower fairies and tree wizards - join the Fairyland Trust and make your own magic wand or wizard's shield from native British wood. Choose your wood and find out about the tales and legends associated with it.
- Wands: 11am, 12 noon 2pm, 3pm and 4pm
- Shields: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm
- Workshops cost £2 per child. book at the Information point.
Traditional Wooden Rides - Wednesday 22nd to Monday 27th August Enjoy swing boats and a roundabout. £1.50 per child per ride. Kids in the Canopy - Friday 24th to Monday 27th August A unique opportunity to visit the very top a of a tree. Canopy Access will use the same equipment used by David Attenborough in wildlife documentaries. £10 per child. No need to book, just come along.
