LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER WINS LANDSCAPE COMPETITION!

In 2006 Local resident William Rowlands scooped first place overall in the Wyre Forest Landscape Photography & Art Competition! The competition was launched to find the best and most imaginative pictures of the Wyre Forest and surrounding landscape.

Williams image was cleverly titled ‘ Where Winter Meets Spring’ and entered into the ‘Seasonal Change’ category, where it grabbed the attention of the competition judges! Aspiring artists of all ages entered and images were displayed outside the Wyre Forest Discovery Centre near Bewdley. Judges considered a fantastic array of drawings, paintings and photographs that captured the essence of the landscape.
