UK Woodland Bird Group
 

The Woodland Bird Group is a partnership involving 14 Government and Non-Government organisations. Led by the Forestry Commission the group aims to:

  • raise awareness of the declines in woodland birds and the inter-relationship with the declines in farmland birds;
  • agree and carry out the priority work necessary to determine the factors primarily responsible for the changes in populations of woodland birds;
  • encourage further co-ordinated research, policy and management measures aimed at reversing the declines based on the evidence collected;
  • support DEFRA in achieving it's PSA target of reversing the declines of farmland birds.
