The Moray Monster Trails run between Fochabers and Craigellachie in Morayshire, with a green graded trail just by Elgin.
Access points are at Ordiequish and Whiteash, both by Fochabers, as well as at Ben Aigan near Craigellachie and at Quarrelwood by Elgin.
There's also access to Ben Aigan from Craigellachie itself, via the Speyside Way, though please note that there's no parking if starting from the Speyside Way route.

By car
Fochabers and Elgin both lie on the A96 Inverness - Aberdeen road. Craigellachie is on the A95 to the south.
Ordiequish, by Fochabers.
Turn south off the A96 by the chip shop in the middle of Fochabers (look for the blue sign). Stay on this road for around 1km, going through Ordiequish and Upper Ordiequish until you reach the car park.
Whiteash (Winding Walks), by Fochabers
Follow the A98 out of Fochabers towards Buckie for around 1km. The Winding Walks car park is on the right (south) side of the road.
Ben Aigan, by Craigellachie
Turn off the A95 Keith to Craigellachie road near Mulben. Coming from Mulbin, the car park is on the right; from Craigellachie it's on the left.
Quarrelwood, by Elgin
For Brumley Brae, Leave the A96 at Eight-Acres Hotel, on the west side of Elgin, on to Morriston Road. Continue for approx. 1/2 mile then turn left at the road signposted 'Pet Centre' on to Brumley Brae. The car park is on the left hand side approx. 1/4 mile uphill (before the pet centre).
For the Leggat car park, turn off the A96 approx 5km west of Elgin onto the minor road signposted to Rosebrae. Look out for the car park about 300 metres on the right.
By Bike
National Cycle Route 1 runs directly past the Brumley Brae car park in Elgin for access to the Quarrelwood trail.
Route 1 also passes roughly 6km (3.5m) north of Fochabers at the Spey viaduct, from where you can follow the Speyside way most of the way south to Fochabers, joining the B9104 for the last 1km into the town.
Take care if using the A98 to access Whiteash from Fochabers. Ordiequish is accessible via minor roads from Fochabers town centre (see car directions above).
The Ben Aigan trails can be accessed by bike from Craigellachie, following the Speyside Way north.

By public transport
By bus
Stagecoach bus service 10 takes bikes (if there’s space - there usually is) and runs hourly, connecting towns and villages on the A96 between Inverness and Aberdeen. Just get off at Fochabers or Elgin and head for the trails!

By train
The nearest train station for the main trails is at Keith, approximately 11km from Fochabers and 15km from Craigellachie by road. For Quarrelwood, Elgin Station is the closest, around 3.5km from the Brumley Brae car park.
You might need to book in advance to take your bike on the train. See First Scotrail's information for cyclists. Journey time to Keith is roughly an hour from either Inverness or Aberdeen. Elgin is about 45 mins by train from Inverness and 1 hour 30 minutes from Aberdeen.
