Bedgebury's trees...bringing learning alive

Bedgebury provides a unique opportunity for people to learn about trees, the environment and themselves.

We aim to use Bedgebury's world-class conifer collection as a learning resource to connect people with trees.

Our learning activities...

  • Help people to become alive to the natural environment and understand the importance of conservation and sustainable development
  • Deepen appreciation and understanding of trees
  • Encourage people to enjoy being outdoors
  • Help people to increase the skills they need for everyday life
  • Support formal education programmes, including the National Curriculum, in schools and other educational institutions

The Education Team offers a variety of services including:

Organised visits (led by our education staff)
