The Freeride Area, Mini North Shore and new Dirt Jump course (alongside the Freeride) are now open.
With invaluable help from the Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club, the improvements to the singletrack are now complete (please see the visitor feedback below).
BFCC will continue to work with Bedgebury in planning and implementing improvements, to ensure that Bedgebury's cycling facilities are the best in South East England. We'll use this site to keep you up to date on progress.
Maintenance work
"The trail was 200% improved on last year, the new areas when bedded in will be even better and I think the team have done a fantastic job. The last run was fantastic with well built jumps, and the new area with switchbacks and berms obviously avoids the mud but also tests the skills.
The team that have done this have made a fantastic job, and I would like to pass on my thanks as each time I ride it, it just gets better and keeps me coming back for more.
Thanks all and keep up the good work!"

Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club

Local experts and enthusiasts have now set up the Bedgebury Cycle Club, in order to accommodate the views and ideas of regular visitors and to ensure the successful evolution of the cycle trails. The club is affiliated to British Cycling, ensuring that Bedgebury will be able to host BC approved events. The club will meet monthly in Bedgebury’s new Visitor Centre.
Membership benefits include an annual car parking pass, free showers and bike-wash, and discounts on parts and accessories in the Bedgebury bike shop run by Quench Cycles.
"Members have assisted with waymarking for the singletrack and freeride area, the extension and re-routing of the singletrack and the development of a dirt-jump area." Says Bedgebury Director David Hiscock. "Other regular activities include night-rides and social events."
