Birches Valley Forest Centre is situated within Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is located amongst a wide variety of landscapes including mature trees, forest glades, heathland and the magnificent Fairoak pools.

The Tree House Education Centre at Birches Valley Forest CentreThe Treehouse Education Centre, situated at Cannock Chase is an ecologically friendly building, funded by Cemex Ltd. It consists of 2 large classrooms designed to use as much natural light as possible and is heated by wood pellet stoves and roofed in sedum. Sitting in the heart of Birches Valley with views of the ever changing woodland, the building is the first of its kind, built entirely with FSC timber and provides sustainable features throughout. Linked with this is the Hideaway Classroom, a seperate building with its own inbuilt facilities.
Cannock Chase - school visit lunch time Outside are plenty of picnic benches so you have a choice of where to eat depending on the weather.

Also on site at Birches Valley Forest Centre are award winning toilets and an enclosed forest play area.
