Key Stage 1

Learning For Key Stage 1

Forest Habitats (seasonal) - Ranger Led (half day)  After a forest habitat presentation, follow a guided trail through the woods identifying trees, plants and animal signs. The children will learn about the forest habitat through games and activities along the way.  Key Concepts: Forest habitats, identification, germination, creativity and imaginative play.

Self Led - A full day can be enjoyed by your group by choosing one of our self led  *Ranger in a Box* options for the afternoon.

Forest Homes: Ranger led - (half day) -  After a short presentation on forest animals, go on a forest safari to discover signs of animals and how they have adapted to survive in a forest environment.  Take part in a minibeast hunt, make your own animal home and create your own butterfly or hedgehog to take home. Key Concepts: Forest habitats, identification, creativity and imaginative play.

 Self led: - To enjoy a full day with your group, why not choose a self led package from one of our *Ranger in a Box* options.
