The District’s strategy has been shaped by a range of national and regional issues:
- The main influence governing how the District functions operationally is the UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS).
- The principles determining our core strategic objectives are derived from Forest Enterprise’s overall national corporate objectives of securing public benefit, economic development and environmental enhancement.
- While the specific East Anglian objectives are derived from the East of England Regional Assembly’s Regional Woodland Strategy
