The Forestry Commission ranger team are able to provide walks, talks and activities about the history, wildlife and management of the New Forest.

Availability and Charges from Autumn 2005

 

 

In School Visits

The ranger team offers in school visits within the National Park and NFDC boundaries free of charge (one free visit per school per year). We offer,

School and College Visits

Curriculum and topic linked walks in the New Forest are available for infants, primary, secondary and college groups, including

up to 30 students per ranger - session up to 2 hrs £50

Guided Walks

Get out and discover the hidden secrets of the New Forest with an expert guide, at a site convenient to your group.

Up to 30 people per ranger – walk up to 2 hours £50 (some specialised walks will have a lower capacity)

For commercial organisations (minimum 2 hrs) £30 per hour

Talks and Slide Shows

We can visit your group to talk about the history, wildlife and management of the New Forest.

Within the National Park and NFDC boundaries £35

Within 5 miles of the National Park and NFDC boundaries £50
