Task & Finish Groups
 

Alongside Newborough Liaison Partnership meetings we have smaller groups which discuss specific issues.
These are the five Task and Finish Groups

Habitats and Species

 

Discusses the nature conservation side of the Forest and Warren, including the huge variety of plants and animals that live there. 

Community Involvement and Partnerships

 

Discusses how best to inform the community of the work carried out by the Liaison Partnership and Task and Finish Groups.

Access and Recreation

 

Discusses the merits of different access options and the needs of different user groups. 

Economics

 

Looks into how best to use the forest and warren for local economic developments. 

Education 

 

Discusses how to make more use of Newborough Forest and Warren as a tool for learning for people of all ages. This group is planning a programme of events. 

Community Consultation


The community consultation group decides on how to consult the people of Newborough and stakeholders on proposals that have arisen from the Newborough Liaison Partnership’s work over the past year.

Transport


Discusses transport to and within Newborough forest and Newborough Warren. Issues covered will include numbers of cars allowed into Newborough forest, alternative parking in the village and public transport.
