Task & Finish Groups
Alongside Newborough Liaison Partnership meetings we have smaller groups which discuss specific issues. These are the five Task and Finish Groups Habitats and Species | Discusses the nature conservation side of the Forest and Warren, including the huge variety of plants and animals that live there. | Community Involvement and Partnerships | Discusses how best to inform the community of the work carried out by the Liaison Partnership and Task and Finish Groups.
| Access and Recreation | Discusses the merits of different access options and the needs of different user groups. | Economics | Looks into how best to use the forest and warren for local economic developments. | Education | Discusses how to make more use of Newborough Forest and Warren as a tool for learning for people of all ages. This group is planning a programme of events. | | Community Consultation | The community consultation group decides on how to consult the people of Newborough and stakeholders on proposals that have arisen from the Newborough Liaison Partnership’s work over the past year.
| | Transport | Discusses transport to and within Newborough forest and Newborough Warren. Issues covered will include numbers of cars allowed into Newborough forest, alternative parking in the village and public transport.
