This document sets out our Woods for Learning Strategy in Scotland for the period 2010-2013. We aim to provide places in our green environment, particularly trees, woods and forests, for learning and teaching outdoors.

Previous strategy document
The current strategy is a replacement for the 2005 Woods for Learning education strategy (PDF 2.2Mb).
There were two annual updates provided on this previous strategy:

Forest School Scotland evaluation report
This report, compiled on behalf of FCS, looks at how Forest School can help deliver the Scottish Government's educational priorities, the current curriculum and the 3-18 Curriculum for Excellence, as well as other government initiatives.
