Biker on the new North Face Mountain Bike trail in Grizedale forestThe trail starts at the visitor centre and consists of a 16km loop which includes 9 sections of sinuous singletrack trail on the west side of Grizedale Forest. The trail offers adrenaline pumping sections of single track descent along with leg burning ascents contouring through oak woodlands and conifer forest. This challenging trail also gives the mountain biker tricky board walk sections through meadows, yet rewards success with outstanding views along the way.

This trail at Grizedale was built by the Welsh team responsible for the very successful Afan Forest Trails in the Swansea area The building of the trail has been made possible through The North Face Mountain Bike Trail Partnership. The partners are The North Face, Rural Regeneration Cumbria and The Forestry Commission.
