Volunteer to be an Osprey Watch guide
We are looking for interested volunteers who would like to get involved with the Tweed Valley Ospreys project in the 2008 season.
Tweed Valley Osprey Watch volunteers staff the two Osprey Watch Centres at Kailzie Gardens and at Glentress Forest. No previous experience is necessary and full training will be given. Cameras are poised at the ready to relay live pictures of family life once the ospreys return from their wintering grounds in Africa to their established nest sites. New species are introduced into the centres in our Windows on Wildlife features and we expect to have a full, fresh and varied programme for visitors this year. If you are interested in getting involved please ring Sarah Oakley, Conservation Ranger for Forestry Commission Scotland on 01750 721120 or email: sarah.oakley@forestry.gsi.gov.uk.
