Recreation ranger shows children a slow ...The New Forest is an historic landscape of international importance and is the subject of many studies by students of all ages. The Forestry Commission ranger team provides an educational service to schools, colleges, universities and informal groups through led walks in the forest, visits to schools and provision of information. The New Forest Fact Files are a series of information sheets covering subjects ranging from Commoning to timber production. We hope you find them useful.
