Newborough Liaison Partnership

Through local people and organisations such as Isle of Anglesey County Council, the Countryside Council for Wales and Forestry Commission Wales, the aim of this partnership has been to improve the design, management and use of Newborough Forest and Warren, and to enhance its environmental, social and economic value in the long term by working together as one unit.

Background to the Newborough Liaison Partnership
The Countryside Council for Wales and Forestry Commission Wales created a joint vision for the management of Newborough which was presented to the public in 2004.

Meetings scheduled for 2011
The last meeting of the Newborough Liaison Partnership took place on 21 October 2010 at the Pritchard Jones Institute, Newborough, where the main topic of discussion was the draft Newborough Forest Management Plan (to see a copy of the completed management plan follow the link in the left hand margin of this page).  The minutes of this last meeting of the NLP are also available (by clicking on the link for Meetings in the left hand margin of this page).

The next meeting of the partnership will be on Tuesday 12 July 2011 at the Pritchard Jones Institute, Newborough, from 7pm to 9pm.
