Advanced Land Information Search
The advanced Land Information Search (LIS) allows you to choose a starting location on a map and then draw a specific area ‘shape’ on the map for searching. This gives a more accurate representation of the area of interest than the basic search. The document How to run a Land Information Search (PDF 855k) has full instructions for advanced searching. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the document. There is also a help function available in the search. As the LIS opens in a separate window, you can view the help text and the LIS on screen at the same time.
Minimum requirements for running the Land Information Search: The Land Information Search can now be used with Internet Explorer 7.0™ The recommended Operating System for running the LIS is Microsoft Windows 98™ or above and the recommended browser is Internet Explorer 6.0™ or above (including Internet Explorer 7.0™).
