Forestry Commissioner and Country Director Scotland

Dr Bob McIntosh

DR BOB MCINTOSH CHIEF EXECUTIVE FEDr Bob McIntosh was appointed Director Forestry Commission Scotland on April 1 2003. He had previously been Chief Executive of Forest Enterprise since March 1997, and is based at Silvan House in Edinburgh.

He joined the Forestry Commission in 1973 as a trainee District Officer at Thetford in East Anglia and held a number of different posts before being appointed Forest District manager at Kielder, Britain's largest man-made forest, in 1986. He remained at Kielder until taking up the post of Director of Business Enterprise in 1995.
