Whinlatter

 

The Whinlatter Forest Park Recreation team covers North Cumbria from their base at Whinlatter Visitor Centre. They are primarily responsible for managing the recreation provision within Whinlatter Forest Park but also work closely with the Thornthwaite and Ennerdale Beat teams in managing recreation facilities in these two beats.

The Whinlatter team work in partnership with the Lake District National Park Authority and Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in the Lake District Osprey Project which provides Osprey viewing facilities at Whinlatter Visitor Centre and Dodd Wood.
