The Cafe
The new Cafe in the Forest is now open. Opening hours are: 9.30am to 5pm (5.30pm takeway service).

Access for Coaches: Coaches must come from the south via the A590 to Greenodd onto the A5092, turning right at Penny Bridge onto the road signed Colton and Oxen Park, and not via Haverthwaite. Please ring the Visitor Centre to confirm the best route before travelling.
Public Transport:
The Cross Lakes Shuttle: The Cross Lakes Shuttle service has now closed for the winter and will recommence in Spring 2009.
X30 Minibus Shuttle Service: The Shuttle Service linking Haverthwaite - Grizedale - Hawkshead is currently running - timetable to follow.
