The post covers the Peak District of Derbyshire with outlying woods between Sheffield and Barnsley and will involve partnership working both within and outside the National Park. You’ll help to maintain and enhance the area using a full range of practical and forestry skills, including chainsaw/ clearing saw work and pesticide application. You’ll carry out forest management, marking and tariffing and undertaking recreation conservation and maintenance.
