National inventory of woodland and trees
 

The National Inventory of Woodland and Trees for Wales is being published at a country and county level in a bilingual format.

The Inventory Report for Wales was launched on the 7 October 2002.

The Inventory Report for Wales costs £15 and can be ordered from Forestry Commission Publications (address opposite).

The Report includes a fold-out colour A1 wallchart (pictured above). Wallcharts are also available separately, free of charge. Please contact public enquiries or forestry@twoten.press.net.

Inventory Reports at county level will be published as pdf files only. To request a printed version contact: woodland.surveys@forestry.gsi .gov.uk

PDF files of the county level reports are available to download below. Please note that due to the complex mapping contained within the reports, the pdf files sizes may be quite large – on average, around 5mB.
