The Forestry Commission recreation pages include information on visitor centres and woodland walks throughout Scotland and the rest of Great Britain.

The Central Scotland Forest Trust events page provides news concerning the creation of the Central Scotland Forest, including events and activities that allow you to get out and explore the forest for yourself.

The Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) events calendar provides a calendar of activities happening across Scotland where SNH will be in attendance.  These may concern different aspects of Scotland's natural heritage, not just trees, woods and forests.
