Forestry Work is about to start in Hopton Woods.

This is a wide scale thinning operation which will take some weeks to complete depending on the weather and ground conditions.

We will need to shut sections of trail as the work progresses and will try to keep these closures as short as it is safe to do so.

There will be a few days when the car park and access road will be closed so we can safely fell the trees around it.

Please:
-Believe closure signs,
-Keep away from stacked timber,
-Expect to meet forest machinery and timber wagons,
-Give us time to check trails are safe to re-open,
-Spread the word to avoid wasted journeys,
-Keep an eye our facebook page www.facebook.com/ourlocalwoods for the latest updates

Thanks
