Trail description

The Adidas running trail provides runners with a scenic route that is challenging to both joggers and serious athletes alike.

Runner on a forest trail. The course starts from Mallards Pike main car park and follows stoned tracks. The trail is way marked with black and white discs on wooden posts with yellow km markers along the route too.

Please be aware that the short cut section of the trail (175m long) is unstoned and may be slippery during the winter months and wet weather.

A small refreshment pod will be available at Mallards Pike on weekends and during the school holidays.

The trail was created in a partnership between Adidas, the Forestry Commission and Forest of Dean Athletic Club.

Due to severe surface mud, the Adidas trail shortcut has been closed.  We hope to open it in spring / summer 2016 and resurface it in Autumn 2016.
