Trail description

 

the trees of Whinlatter Forest showing the end of the blue walking trailStaying mainly off forest roads, this trail winds through glades and beside streams and landscape features.  As the trail follows Comb Gill, keep a look out for the ancient sheepfold and disused dam, which once provided a source of power for the mines deep in the mountain below.

Really lovely walk but not enough markers near end and we had to retrace our steps to not get lost.
