Explore Miterdale Car park
(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

Miterdale Car Park is a grassy informal car park sheltered in the valley bottom beside the River Mite. It provides a great place for a family picnic followed by a game of cricket, pooh sticks and paddling. Alternatively for the more adventurous it is the ideal base for exploring the mountains and fells of West Cumbria, cycling or walking through Miterdale forest

What do other visitors say?

Could do with a few more car park signs, or at least one at the junction by the church/School. The top of the road has quite a few potholes, which could do with filling in.Plus a sign at the gate saying Car Park might be handy. Nice area though, we will return to do further walking.
