Child choosing a Christmas treeChristmas Tree Sales

Our Christmas Tree sales start Monday 1st December, and will be open every day until Sunday 14th December 2014 inclusive. Weekdays 10-7pm                                  Weekends 9-5pm.

Tree range available

We offer a range of sustainably grown Christmas trees.  You can choose from:

  • Fir - rigid, upright stance makes it ideal for decorating. There is excellent retention of the broad, soft needles.
  • Spruce - the traditional Christmas tree with a good conical structure.  The fine needles are a rich green colour and have a distinctive fragrance.
  • Pine - cheery, bushy foliage with a fragrant scent.  The long soft needles are retained well.

Prices range from £30 to £65, and our selection of trees will range in size from 4ft to 8ft 9depending on stock available). All trees are netted by our team for your convenience, and during busy periods a carry out service may be available by local volunteers.

We will have a range of tree stands available to hold your tree upright and keep it in the best condition by allowing you to water your tree regularly. Stands will range in price from £20 to £30.

What do other visitors say?

I've been going to delamere for Christmas for 15 years and must say I was a little disappointed too last year. The choir was missed and there didn't seem to be as much stalls there. The wait for the Santa grotto is ridiculous and was nearly 2 hours, there needs to be some sort of booking times or tickets put in place as way too long for small children.i must say the Santa is amazing and very real.

Thank you for your comments. We try to provide an enjoyable experience for our visitors who come to buy real Christmas trees, however, are aware of the popularity of Delamere and try to put things in place to limit queues.

This was our third visit with our son to see 'santa'. We were a little disappointed this year. The walk to the grotto was not as good as previous years. There is normally lots to see and keep the children occupied but this year they only had Christmas trees along the route. Santa was fantastic and our son still believes he is the 'real one'! He took time to talk to him and make the visit very special. The train ride through the forest was not running this year nor did they have the tent/choir which adds to the experience. Hopefully they will bring these things back again for next year as this is what makes it so magical and keeps people coming back year after year.
