High Lodge ANPR

High Lodge, Thetford Forest is introducing a new ticketless site entry system which uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).

High Lodge, Thetford Forest is introducing a new ticketless site entry system. The new system uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) to calculate which vehicles are visiting and how long they stay. This means that it will use your vehicle registration number to allow you to enter and exit.

The new site entry system will start working from Friday 4th November 2016. Don’t worry; as a Discovery Pass holder, valued supporter and regular visitor you will already be registered with the details that you provided to us when you joined.

To ensure that you don’t encounter any issues, please ensure your vehicle registration details are up to date by logging in to your Discovery Pass account.

What to do if your vehicle registration has changed:

Please login to your account to your account to update your details.

What then?

As usual, you can continue to enjoy visiting High Lodge with either of your registered vehicles however; you will still only get entry with one vehicle at any one time. If you happen to visit with both vehicles, the barrier system will recognise the first vehicle you drive in with and the barrier will lift automatically upon exit for that vehicle. If you have another registered vehicle parked at the same time, you will need to pay for site entry for the second vehicle that entered before you leave the site.

Why are we making the change?

The barrier system will allow us to manage traffic better at peak times, improve security and offer a simpler, more user friendly experience. Providing we have your up to date details we are sure that you will not encounter any issues. If in the unlikely event that you do, please go along to the Information Point on site.
