Join our guides to discover spring amongst trees and shrubs gathered from all over the temperate areas of the globe. You’ll see extraordinary rhododendrons hailing from the Himalayas and champion magnolias from China along with some stunning conifer foliage from Eastern Europe.

Westonbirt is renowned for autumn colour, with trees and shrubs from far-flung corners of the world providing a succession of stunning colours. Explore our Japanese maples and a host of other specimens, led by our well-versed volunteer guides.
Know where to look and you’ll find winter at Westonbirt to be a real treat. Our guides will take you to some of the best sights of the season, from bright-barked stems to sculptural conifers. There can also be some tantalising scents from witch hazel and Christmas box.

Our seasonal walks and guided tours for groups are hosted by knowledgeable volunteer guides. They cost £30 for up to 25 people and the entire fee goes to the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum (charity no. 293190).
