Bushcraft birthday parties

What better way to celebrate a birthday than by having a bushcraft party in the forest with your family and friends?

You can mix and match our activities to make the perfect special day and a truly memorable experience. Perfect for children aged 5+

Our bushcraft parties

Start your day practising your map reading skills to find the bushcraft camp hidden deep in the forest. Once there build some shelters using the natural materials from the forest - the challenge is to make them waterproof... and this will be tested!

After this we then break for lunch. You will need to bring your own lunch and the children can either eat it in their shelters, in our yurt or around the campfire circle. Following lunch we spend some time learning some fire lighting skills - we have a go with different tinders and find out how to build a good, safe fire. We end the session by toasting some marshmallows.

Depending on the age group we may be able to include extra activities - choose from any of our activities here

Our charges

We charge £250 for a Saturday or a Sunday or £210 for a weekday. You can bring up to 15 children and will also need to have at least two adults with the group. We can be quite flexible on the timings and the activities but our standard birthday party starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm.

Stay overnight

For a longer adventure, you can stay overnight and experience the forest when all the other visitors have gone home. This is the perfect time to discover wildlife, such as spotting deer and using special bat detectors to listen to bats.

Birthdays for adults

Why let kids have all the fun?  We run lots of birthday parties for adults too and they are a great way to spend time doing something a bit different with family and friends.

Choose from our range of bushcraft activities and enjoy a delicious lunch cooked for you over the campfire.
