Alice Holt Café Opportunity

Open all year round, Alice Holt Forest Centre is a leading recreation destination in the South of England, attracting over 450,000 visitors a year. Families can explore the play trails, meet characters from Julia Donaldson’s much loved children’s’ books and get up close to nature. All ages and abilities can discover the forest, there are trails for everyone, from a gentle stroll to a thrilling bike trail. Other facilities on site include a café, a cycle centre, ‘Go Ape!’ and much more. We are looking for partners who will add value to the site, providing a high quality customer experience, whilst maximising the business opportunity. 

The Forestry Commission’s exciting new development will include a new café facility as its centrepiece and we are planning for it to be open and operational early in 2017.  The Forestry Commission is looking for a tenant who will maximise this opportunity and make Alice Holt Forest Centre renowned for its café offer.

The Rosliston Forestry Centre Glade Area Business Opportunity

We are looking for partners who will provide a high quality customer experience, whilst maximising the business opportunity presented by the Glade area. We are looking for a wedding/event organiser to provide outdoor “ woodland”, ‘party’ or ‘festival’ style wedding receptions or similar celebrations at The Rosliston Forestry Centre.

Any tenant will need to work proactively with us, to provide new experiences, attract new audiences and develop new income streams. We are looking for a business to provide an innovative, reliable and exciting visitor experience, to complement the Rosliston Forestry Centre site and the other activities at the venue.

Expressions Of Interest for ticket agents

Primary ticket agents for our Live Music programme.

Interested parties will be considered on a number of factors, including:

  • Database size
  • Sales experience relevant to our product (genre)
  • Geographical area served
  • Credit history
  • Ability to use FC ticket stock (no e-tickets)
  • Stance on the secondary sales market

Decisions will be made depending on opportunities available, which may be limited by existing ticket agents. Please note there is a maximum number of agents we are able to work with at any one time so opportunities may not always be available.

We are continually looking for commercial marketing partnerships and sponsorship that meet our marketing objectives.

We have a range of events that can be sponsored and we are happy to talk to companies and organisations about innovative ways to explain who we are and what we do and promote our sites to their customers.

Our objectives are:

  • Inform people about our work
  • Raise awareness of our sites, events, activities and membership
  • Raise awareness of the importance of trees, woods and forests

We have recently worked with companies to promote our forest and activities via their websites and apps. We would be interested in hearing about other similar opportunities.
