The FC Wood and Timber Properties research programme

The research funding available under this programme supports the processing end of the forest woodchain and is undertaken in close partnership with other funding bodies, the UK timber processing industries and research institutes.


Projects include crop management for timber quality, market development, the improvement of wood processing technologies for UK grown species, and wood product development and building sustainably with timber. Current projects are listed in the FC Research Catalogue.
