Woodland Education

Woodland Education in Wales

Woodlands provide a stimulating outdoor learning environment.  The Education, Learning and Sector Skills Team work throughout Wales, directly with groups offering curriculum linked visits in local woodlands. We offer training sessions to help teachers, group leaders and others use their local woodlands for learning.  Support is given for the development and delivery of Forest School and co-ordination of the Forest Education Initiative (FEI) cluster groups across Wales. Whatever age and ability you work with, from Foundation Phase to University level, clubs, groups and societies, our education officers are there to help you.  Contact your local Education Officer.
