Youth Shelters

A group of young people using the Northants shelters

Based on a Danish design, these environmentally friendly shelters have been built by local craftsmen, from timber felled in the local woodlands. The shelters are nestled in the heart of the ancient Royal Hunting Forest of Rockingham. They are situated in Fineshade and Fermyn Woods and it is possible to hike between them, if you wish. They have a purpose built fire site and the Fineshade site has a composting toilet.

Snuggled up in your sleeping bag in the shelters you can immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the woodlands. A truly unique experience! These shelters are available to hire to groups with Public Liability Insurance, for further details contact us.
