What information can I see?
The map viewer allows you to view the Forestry Commission Wales Planting Opportunity Maps. These are series of maps that have been agreed with statutory consultees to show where new woodland creation would be acceptable.
If you feel that your site has been wrongly designated as 'no planting' e.g. it is improved land not habitat land, then you can appeal against this. Appealing will have no affect on your single farm payment and is not a breach of cross compliance.
You can also view the location of the Welsh Government Woodland Estate and where Forestry Commission Wales have provided grant aid through Better Woodlands for Wales.
Included are our Grants and Regulations Woodland Officer Boundaries and Assembly Government Woodland Estate Local Area Managers Boundaries.
