Dragged by the wife to see James Blunt last year, just booked for Paloma Faith the venue is fantastic, ok getting out takes time but its a small price to pay for such a good show.

We saw Paul Weller who was fantastic but it was slightly spoiled by getting out of the venue at the end. There were no marshalls in the main field car park (which there were on arrival) as a result it was a free for all and a shambles. Took 2 hours to get out of the field. Such as shame because it is a beautiful venue.

Thanks for your commments, our traffic marshall were in attendance on entry and egress, we're sorry that you didn't see anyone. Unfortunately at the end of the night as everyone leaves at the same time there are inevitably delays, please be assured we are doing all we can to get everyone home safely as quickly as possible.

Hi Everyone.

Soon be Dalby Forest concert nights this June, 3 nights in a row i believe for this year.

The reason for the congestion at the end of the concerts is the forest roads just weren't built to take such an amount of traffic, inc coaches, all at the same time. Everyone makes their way in to the concert parking over several hours but all come out at the same time, nightmare.

As a local taxi driver, i've done every concert for the last 11 years, i can say that the current traffic system is about right. Many attempts at improving access back on to the forest roads after the concert has finished have come & gone. The current one is the best we can do. I've actually been in discussions with forest management re taxi parking, access etc & one overriding factor comes out on top everytime...your safety! The management have taken on board the hassle we all feel when sat in a queue but thats the way it is at Dalby. The venue is fantastic with the sound being kept within the concert venue itself making for a great atmosphere.

Having to wait a while in a queue making your way out is a price we all have to pay as its been done to maximise safety.

Hope you have a great time at this years concerts good was Erasure & Andy Bell live, a-ma-zing!!
