Trefor Owen
Trefor Owen was appointed Director Forestry Commission Wales on 18 March 2008. He had previously been Head of Estate Management of Forestry Commission Wales since 2004, and is based in Aberystwyth.Trefor graduated in Agriculture-Forestry from Bangor University in 1985 and has held several forest management and leadership posts in Scotland and south, mid and north Wales since joining the Commission. Trefor was born and brought up on Anglesey, and he is a fluent Welsh speaker.
