Sherwood Pines Forest Park is developing a centre of Excellence for Off Road Cycling. This includes a 6 mile XC (cross country) route which takes in both existing and newly constructed trails, a bike park including dirt jumps and some new northshore, a skills loop, family cycle route and an adventure cycle route.
If you would like to become involved there are several dig days being run. All tools are provided by the Forestry Commission but please wear appropriate clothing (something you do not mind getting dirty).
