Orienteering

Recommended for key stage 2 upwards.

Costs

Maps of the orienteering course are available which include suggested routes of varying distances. Compasses are not supplied and compass skills are not necessary to use the course. Water resistant maps can be purchased from the High Lodge Site Entry Office at a cost of £2.00 each.

Groups wishing to use the orienteering course are asked to telephone 01842 816031 in advance, as forestry operations may prevent some parts of the course being available for public use at certain times. (Advance booking is essential if large numbers are required. Please call 01842 816000).                                                                         Reading orienteering map
