The Café at High Lodge

The Cafe serves fresh, hot and cold food and drinks throughout the year. It is open every day (excluding Christmas Day). Seasonal opening times apply - please visit High Lodge Today for current opening times. This facility is managed by Churchill Catering Ltd.

The Pantry  

This is the place to stop by for sandwiches and snacks to take out. It is open subject to demand on holidays and at peak times. This facility is managed by Churchill Catering Ltd.

The Ice cream Parlour

The Parlour serves a wide range of ice cream flavours and ice lollies. It is open on holidays and at peak times and is managed by Churchill Catering Ltd.

Picnic facilities

There are 35 picnic benches and tables situated around High Lodge and close to the car parking areas. It is not possible to reserve these facilities, so please arrive early if you have a favourite spot.

Im thinking of holding a small get together for my baby's first birthday at High Lodge. Just with a picnic and maybe a small gazebo,would i have to get permission or have to pay any charges?

There are some restrictions to erecting gazebos, please telephone 01842 816028 to discuss. Site entry fees apply to all vehicles brought onto site.

Hi there I'm planning a surprise picnic for my wife's 40th birthday party. It would involve friends, family and children. Can you tell me if anyone has done anything like this before? Do you have suggestions (where would be best to hold it at High Lodge etc?) Any suggestions would warmly received.

High Lodge is the perfect venue for a surprise birthday party and is popular with all ages. There are a wide variety of attractions on site eg cycle hire, Go Ape, face painting, archery, pony rides, climbing wall. Some are only available at weekends and school holidays. Oak Lodge is a popular venue for up to a maximum of 50 people. Please call 01842 816028 to check availability and to discuss hire charges. Please also call this number to arrange a self led group booking form.
