Live Music 2008

 

Forest Tour 2007 was the most successful yet, with the greatest number of acts performing and record attendances. Travis, M People, Blondie, The Feeling, The Charlatans, James Morrison and Jools Holland were just some of the acts that performed in stunning settings last summer. Aiming to make 2008 even better the Forestry Commission are pleased to announce the following acts.

The superb McFly have announced that they will play an East Anglian date this summer.		Elbow have announced a special trip to the woods this Summer.		The fantastic KT Tunstall has announced two concerts as part of the Forestry Commission’s Live Music 2008 this Summer.

The Zutons, who are currently recording their new album in LA, have announced their first UK tour in two years at seven unique forest locations across the UK.		Crowded House have announced a UK and European tour this summer including playing several shows as part of the Forestry Commission’s Live Music 2008.		One of the UK’s most significant bands, The Charlatans, have announced they will play Cannock Chase Forest, Staffordshire, this summer as part of Live Music 2008.

One of Britain's best loved bands Status Quo will be appearing live as part of Live Music 2008.		Classical superstar, Katherine Jenkins, has announced that she will be appearing as part of Live Music 2008.		Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, featuring Gilson Lavis,special guest vocalist Marc Almond (at Westonbirt  only) and guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, has announced two 2008 summer concerts.
