Walking
There are four waymarked walks at High Lodge - the Nature trail (1.5km), the Pine trail (1.5km), the Fir trail (5km) which leads to the Beech trail (5km). A map showing the walks around High Lodge is available from the Information Point.
Practice your map reading skills and find your way around the permanent Orienteering course at High Lodge. There are three routes you can take depending on your level of skill and fitness.
For younger would-be orienteers, we have the Squirrel Scamper trail at High Lodge. This introduces chidren to basic map reading skills.
Cycling
Four waymarked cycle routes are available - the green family Shepherd trail, the blue Poacher trail and the more challenging red Beater trail and red Lime Burner trail. Cycle Hire is available.

Please be advised that due to local snow fall all trails are affected with ice and snow cover which could be slippery, due to snow melt areas.
Cycle hire is provided by Bike Art and is located at High Lodge (Tel: 01842 810090).
