Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from 28 November to 21 December. Celebrate Christmas at Westonbirt and enjoy:

The Enchanted Wood

• Be amazed on our 1mile trail through the arboretum’s famous trees, lit up in a kaleidoscope of colour. See the beauty of the trees as never before and watch out for some special effects.
• The trail opens at 5pm, last admission to the carpark 7.15pm for last entry on the trail at 7.30pm.
• No dogs please.
  Wrap up warm and wear suitable shoes or boots.
• Event Entry price
• In December there is only a daytime car parking charge, £5 per car from 9am to 4.00pm. Entry for the Enchanted Christmas event, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 28th November to 21st December, costs £7 adults, £6 concessions, £3 children under 18 (including car parking), from 5.00pm to 7.15pm. No dogs please.

Father Christmas and Friends

Father Christmas arrives to turn on the Enchanted Wood illuminations at Westonbirt at 4.45pm on Friday 28 November and meet our seasonal character stilt walkers in the main courtyard between Maples and the Forest shop.
Meet Father Christmas every Enchanted Christmas evening from 4.00pm - 8.00pm. Father Christmas doesn't have a grotto or any reindeer at Westonbirt - but you can see him as he strolls around the courtyard chatting to the children.

Unique Christmas Shopping

Find the ideal gift form the huge range of clothing, sweet treats, decorations and more in the Forest Shop. Open daily 10am - 5pm, until 8.30pm during Enchanted Christmas.

Seasonal Dining

No time to have dinner at home? No problem - pick up a hot or cold snack including hot soup, burgers, hot dogs and pasties.
Treat yourself to festive hot chestnuts, mince pies, sweets and mulled wine.
Or indulge yourself at the Maples Restaurant Evening Christmas Carvery, £15.95 for Adults and £8.95 for children. Serving starts at 5.30pm to 7.30pm but must be booked on Tel:01666 880558 Please be aware of entry times to the trail if you eat - you wouldn't want to miss it.

Christmas Trees

Visit the Westonbirt Plant Centre for a large selection of real Christmas trees and decorations, from trees growing in pots to a huge choice of varieties of cut trees from sustainable sources. Plus bulbs, Christmas gifts and more. Christmas trees go on sale from Saturday 29th November at the Westonbirt Plant Centre open daily from10am - 5pm.

Choirs and Carols

Soak up the Christmas spirit with seasonal music, both traditional and modern, performed by local bands and choirs.  6pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 7.30pm in the Courtyard.
