 Undertaking woodland planting and management, providing access improvements, fencing, recreational facilities and opportunities and interpretation.
 Providing the lasting legacy of a Welsh Oak sculpture trail linked to adjoining parkland and forestry to improve the urban environment creating economic benefit to the community by attracting visitors to the area to view the trail and act as a catalyst for further development in the community.
 Enabling community participation by encouraging younger & older members of the community to work together in the planning & implementation of the scheme which will improve capacity building & transferable skills.
