Competition Winners
The third annual New Forest photography competition, jointly organised by the New Forest National Park Authority and the Forestry Commission proved the most difficult to judge yet. The quality of this years images and choosing the winners was a difficult task.
The ‘Seasonal Snaps’ theme allowed budding photographers unlimited scope for exploring the Forest during its changing seasons. Entrants had a choice of submitting up to four images that they felt best represented the National Park during spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Photo Exhibition
Winners won vouchers for photographic goods worth £100, £75 and £50 and had their work displayed at the New Forest Museum from Saturday 14 February to 15 March 2009.
Libby Holmes, Communications Manager, said: ‘We had such an overwhelming response this year we will definitely be running the competition in the forthcoming year, so look out for details.’
