Live images of the birds and red squirrelsWe have two pages of webcams. On one page you can view live images of the nesting peregrines, and on the other, the bird feeder that red squirrels like to visit regularly, as well as an overall view of the Bin Quarry. The centreAt the centre itself, you can find out more about peregrines raising chicks in their natural habitat. Experts are on hand to give advice on the birds and other local wildlife, as well as how to protect them. FacilitiesOn-site there's an interpretative cabin, with three monitors offering live pictures and sound from the quarry where the birds nest. Alternatively, you can view the birds at first hand from our quarry hide. Follow the short trail to the hide and use the telescope or binoculars provided. Those less able can take a car up to the hide (only two cars allowed due to the steep incline to the quarry). Also on site: small bird feeding station with camera links pond with picnic area car park (including disabled parking/ bus parking) toilets (including disabled toilet) wildlife: wildcat, barn owl, kestrel, lizards, voles, woodland birds, jays, great spotted woodpeckers, common crossbills, newts, frogs, toads, butterflies and dragonflies/damselflies, roe deer and orchids have all been seen here stunning scenery of Deveron valley and surrounding hills.
Can I bring my dog?The nature of the wildwatch site is such that, unfortunately, we can't allow any dogs other than guide dogs beyond the car park. If, however, you have to leave your dog in the car, we'll keep an eye on it for you while you visit. Water and bowls provided. Getting here:
