Jon Owen Jones
Jon Owen Jones was appointed as a Forestry Commissioner for Wales for an initial term of three years in January 2007. As of January 2010 he was re-appointed for a further three years. He also chairs the Welsh National Committee.
Mr Jones is a former MP (until 2005) and former Minister for the Environment, Farming and Forestry in the Welsh Office. Mr Jones has a long and distinguished career in Welsh politics and has served in a number of key roles and committees including the Health Select Committee and Environmental Audit Select Committee.
