Gorseinon Development Trust was formed in 2003 and is an independent not for profit company set up with representatives from the local community. The Trust works in partnership with many community groups and organisations in the area and has been involved in a whole raft of economic, social and environmental initiatives in the area.
This project will restore a community woodland at Parc Melin Mynach and enhance an existing nature reserve on land between Pontybrenin Primary School and Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Pontybrenin . It will improve access for local people and visitors, including those with disabilities and provide recreational facilities and interpretation to enhance public use and enjoyment.
